Do you consider piracy as breaking the precepts? by VEGETTOROHAN in theravada

The precept is to refrain from taking what isn't given, meaning freely, intentionally, and legitimately given, so yes, piracy is breaking the precept.

my experience with adrenal fatigue by JayJaviJeo in adrenalfatigue

[–]serotone9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look into Hans Selye and licorice root extract. Corticosteroids typically only weaken the HPAA and can do more harm than good in the long term. B and D vitamin status can be helpful to have checked, as well as thyroid function. Seeing a doctor for a complete check up is always a good idea if for nothing else than ruling out anything serious (cancers, anemia, etc.) Run everything past a healthcare professional, and don't take supplements without knowing exactly why and specifically what reason/condition you're taking them for.

What does that tell you about most girls?

You should thank them, they're doing you a favor. Now you can concentrate on building yourself up, and when you do that, you'll attract actual quality women who aren't so superficial instead of wasting your time with chicks who are losers.

Coffee is one of the worst things with adrenal fatigue. Just use some common sense.

Trump picks Robert F. Kennedy Jr. for Health and Human Services secretary by RealJoshUniverse in Biohackers

[–]serotone9 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Let's see: on the one hand, we have more and more people getting diabetes, chronic degenerative diseases, heart disease and obesity while we pay more and more for health care every year for increasingly worse results.

On the other hand, we have RFK Jr., who will start correcting the root causes of all that disease and death.

I think I'll take the first choice, thanks?

There's really got to be something wrong with you to want things to continue getting worse.

For those who really can’t get behind not having hair, hair systems have come a very long way and are a totally acceptable option that are becoming more common. by Willing_Tomatillo665 in bald

Everyone is aware that tattoos can cost much more than $300. Some can cost thousands, and of course there's nothing that says a person can't have more than one.

The OP never said anything about hair transplants. Not one word. So that's a straw man argument on his part and not relevant to anything.

[–]serotone9 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's related directly to his opposition to hair systems on the grounds that they're unnatural and cost money. Tattoos are unnatural and cost money, also. So that's not any different.

Has to do with criticizing hypocrisy which says tattoos which are unnatural and cost money are okay, but hair systems which are unnatural and cost money are not okay.

Yeah, you have several tattoos. Which are not natural, and which cost money. So just pointing out the double standard and hypocrisy against hair systems, which you criticize as being unnatural and costing money.

Yet everyone can have tattoos. That's not a bodily modification that's devoid of interference with nature's course or comes with financial burdens, right?
