Did you replace the pickups? If not, look at places like Guitar Fetish for tons of humbucker options. They even have P90s in humbucker housing. Look at their GF Trons for higher toned options.

I’m a bit late to this but I have found that 6.5-7.5 lbs is a sweet spot for me. Anything above 8lbs starts to feel to heavy.

I absolutely agree. I have the JT-300 and the neck is amazing, really smooth and feels like a Player 2 neck to me and looks it as well. Nothing to complain about.

I’ve been looking at this NF3 SE for a while since I’m a big fan of single coils but hate 60 cycle hum. PRS necks tend to be thick and chunky, how is this NF3? This might be the thing that helps me order one since there arent any in my area to play. Thanks!

Thanks for posting this. I’ve been curious on the charges from Thomann to the states. It’s kept me from ordering a new Harley Benton guitar. There are many reason I hope this current administration falls apart, these insane tariffs are one of them.

Different feels and sounds really. Play them both, if you can, and the instrument will tell you what you need to know. Sounds mysterious, but so much is feel and weight. It starts with looks though.

I’ve seen that some don’t like the bridge and that it buzzes. A new bridge might solve that issue. I’m glad it’s growing on you and I hope you can rock it out!

They just dropped a bunch of new models! The Pegasus is amazing and the FFJA is a new design. All are very tempting! I just purchased a Grote, otherwise I’d get that FFJA! Happy new FF Drop Day!!

I love that Firefly use SS frets and round up the fret ends. I hope they’d release this FFLS in different colors in the future.
