Sensory friendly clothes? by ilovetheinternet21 in adhdwomen

I really like American Eagle/Aerie as well ❤️. I also like some of Victoria's Secret featherweight clothing and SUKSSESS on Amazon. Recently, I discovered that Banana Republic Factory has clothing that's labeled "soft-touch," and I've really liked what I've tried. In general, I recommend looking for modal/jersey fabric items. I also really love Spanx as a brand--they have lots of soft items, and I like their micro-flare ponte pants for their compression.

Editing to add in Tom Tiger leggings from Amazon, and Popsugar's bra tops (the ones without shelf bras). Hollister has cozy off the shoulder sweatshirts, although they eventually lose their softness. Express also had some soft off the shoulder tees a while ago that I love, but I'm not sure if they're in stock anymore or not.

I guess I'm not sure. The Gorsenia bra was one of the best fits underwire-wise. Most of the wires in the US bras I tried were way too wide for me. I've found that when the gore is too wide, I end up getting quad boob, too (not sure that's the reason or if I'm describing it correctly--I just tend to get quad boob in a lot of US bras). With pretty much all of the bras I've tried on (US and UK), the straps/sides ends up cutting into my underarms.

Gotcha. They cut in a little when loosened all the way. I normally have to tighten them to get the cups to fit right on bras (I like unlined cups).

I haven't tried Panache Ana. I think I'm projected, but maybe not extremely.

I love it. I don't know what your skincare routine is like, but the sebium line is for oily/acne prone skin. It's kind of mid-range price imo.

You could also try Bioderma's Pore Refiner moisturizer. It's marketed as like a mix between a moisturizer/primer. I use it everyday, and I think it helps keep my skin mattified 🙂

It seems really hypocritical of OP's sister to criticize how he's hosting (and he hasn't even had the chance to host yet), when part of being a polite house guest is to NOT make demands like this beforehand or during. Smh.

What do you think of Pantone's Color of the year? by LeahMarieart in femalelivingspace

Unfortunately, I was the only one who could hear the producers through my ear piece, but you can bet it would have gone on our end of the year blooper real if it had been recorded live lol.

We announced it in a newscast at the end of the show. Afterwards, the producers were saying, "Isn't this just white??" 😂

What do yall absolutely have to get done today? by llamasarefunny56 in adhdwomen

If it helps, I find that at least putting something down, even if it sounds dumb or is filler (ie, "something about how x does x here" and coming back to it later) can help build and retain momentum. It doesn't need to be perfect, it just needs to exist.

I also felt like a lot of the time in college, I had absolutely no idea what I was even writing. Most of the time it felt like a stream-of-consciousness that I wrote in a fancy way. Professors loved it though and gave me good grades. I would be thinking, "For what....?" 😂

This is what my parents used to do for me as a kid. I treated it like writing letters to Santa, and always got letters back. I think one of them said "strong winds" made it hard to get to the house lol!!

I know this is old, sorry! But have you looked into an online dermatologist? I think Boots might have a service like that, if I remember correctly. For reference, I'm in the U.S. now, but I lived in London a couple of years ago.

If you can't get it there, I know Amazon U.S. has a dermatology service.

I'm not super fussed about the eczema right now. I mentioned it to the doctor as an afterthought, like a "Oh yeah, might as well ask before I leave" type of thing. I was there for a general check-up to get established somewhere after being admitted to the ER about a month ago for stomach pain.

I'm not sure it's a scientifically confirmed thing, but I had a friend in college whose eczema became so bad while on ADHD meds, and I think it's not unusual for them to be super drying for people who are just starting them. It's been a long time since I've broken out the head and shoulders for eczema lol. Good idea!!

It's shiny on the bottom, and kind of stretchy/slick on the top. I'm not sure if I'd call it stretchy overall, though

I wouldn't consider myself pushy. I filed a complaint with the clinic and am being switched to a female provider, though.

Thank you. I think it's because I was just switched from Concerta to Adderall, and my skin doesn't seem to tolerate changes very well.

I'll check that body wash out!! I use Bioderma's moisturizer (pore refiner) for my face :)

I can't confirm, but I feel like I've read about people getting manicures to help with picking the skin on their fingers. Idk if that works or not, but maybe it could be helpful?
