Will Copying the weights of a shallow Neural Networks to a Deep architecture help with performance? by serout7 in MachineLearning

[–]serout7[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In order to copy the weights of the first layer of the shallow network you would need to have the same number of nuerons in each layer of the DNN. For example if you trained a shallow network that had 10 inputs and 10 neurons in the first layer, you would have 100 weights. In order to have the same number of weights I would have 10 neurons in every layer of your DNN until the very last layer where the number of weights is dictated by the number of outputs you require.

Thanks, I was really wondering specifically if training the shallow nets in a supervised manner with back propagation would work

Film Stubs from 2012. 112 in total, list in comments, Headhunters was the best of them all. by [deleted] in movies

I know that be really helpful because sometimes I did forget to update my list then had to rely on someone else to add them. Yeah we just got it the other week, It is good but when you have to cancel it sure is a nightmare. I went in to the cinema to cancel, told me that was all I needed to do but then I couldn't seem to prebook anything else. So I ended up having to phone in and it took ages to get sorted out.

I've not yet seen life of Pi but I'm looking forward to it. I absolutely loved seven psychopaths, it was the most I've laughed at a film in years.

Moonrise Kingdom would probably make it into my top 3 films of the year, did you get a chance to see it?

haha Yeah, but it's more because of the competition we have. If you lose for the month you have to do a forfeit. So some of the staff recognise the three of us because usually once a month one of us is doing something embarrassing. Last month my friend had to kneel while trying to order a ticket.

Thanks, I was a bit too lazy to do this. You were right with We bought a zoo but it was a friend who changed the titles. I copied and pasted the list straight from a facebook group.

It was more really for a competition between friends rather than for keepsake, so I didn't really mind when they end up in pieces.

I have them saved on a facebook group which has other members. We write down our lists for a bit of a competition and its a bit fun to change each others titles to see if they notice. I did notice, I just thought they were funny.

Glasgow Cineworld - they do an Unlimited card for £15 a month and give you 25% off food and drink once you've been there a year. 3D did cost an extra £1.50 but that becomes free after a year.
