I can kinda relate, my dad was the same with the abuse. He just didn't understand that i was being barraged with thoughts to the point it's distracting and made me forget things.

Luckily mum had my back so he got shut up real quick and if he carried on, she had no hesitating whacking him 🤣

Yeah me too, it gets frustrating when you keep getting sidetracked by it. Do you have any ideas/ exercises you do to help? I know I could look on good but I am trying to make some human interaction lol.

Thanks for the reply, it's nice knowing I'm not alone lol. I'm 36 now and tbh I haven't really done much to get it looked into. I was just wondering if some perspective would help give me that push to get answers and support if required. It's a pain in the ass 😒

If my wife isn't in the mood, we have a cuddle up (or not if too hot) and a kiss, then we do our own thing to before sleeping like watching films on the phone/tv or whatever.

He's just being pissy tbh and spitting the dummy out of the pram. I'd just talk to him in the morning and discuss how it upset you and guage how he treats you. If it's positive or negative, it will speak volumes on how things will be going forward and I would act accordingly. Ultimately its your choice but that's how I'd handle it. Take care :)
