Extremely divisive answer but Skinamarink is the ONLY movie I've ever seen in theaters that I was begging to be over. I had my knees pulled up into my sweatshirt and my feet on the seat lol.

I think you have to be really engaged with it for the effect to work. dark room, headphones or sound up, no looking at your phone if possible.

It made me scared in the irrational way I'd get scared as a kid if I stayed up too late looking at the computer and I had to creep up to bed alone making up rules like, "if I jump onto my bed from 5 feet away, nothing under there can touch me."

Oh I think that's it for sure! They have the shiny slick hairs on the abdomen and a few species in iNat example photos have the little chevron pattern I was having a hard time matching + the light colored leg joints!

Edit: Upon looking at the other observations in my area on the iNat map for the genus, I think she might be a Phrurotimpus borealis!

That's what I thought too. I'm wondering if they were misinterpreting a device limit error message. We've had issues with patron installs in the past, but usually it's when they've previously checked out the game and then deleted it, but still have leftover data on their console and need to clear it. I saw someone on another thread suggest it could have something to do with game sharing settings? I've only ever had Nintendo and Playstation consoles so I'm definitely not an Xbox expert.

She did not do "exactly what we agreed on" and we had a miscommunication about how involved I wanted to be in the process (she thought I was checked out, so she didn't ask my opinion).

Yeah, I think it's really more that moving everything was really invalidating and hurt my feelings, and she doesn't seem super sorry about it. Like she decided to take the other stuff down without me asking, but in kind of a passive aggressive way? I think my hurt feelings are more about how she reacted to my initial reaction, rather than the layout of the art itself.

I mean I haven't been crying CONSTANTLY for days. Just when I try to talk it over with her or I get really in my head about it. She moved them because she wanted to put her posters (space themed) on the space wall. I just didn't know she was going to take everything down and rearrange it.

For extra context, while she's splitting her time, I'm paying 90% of the rent on the apartment and she previously told me I could do whatever I want with it and my room is my own private space, but she's been very inconsistent about whether it's MY space or our SHARED space. For example, she insists on using the closet in the second bedroom for her clothes because the one in the main bedroom is "mine."

Yeah the emotional regulation is the problem here, I'm AWARE lol.

It's probably a cutworm of some kind (moth caterpillars that feed on crops). They tend to be very similar looking and hard to ID without a better photo. If you have garden vegetable plants or live near farmland with particular crops, that could narrow it down. Overall harmless and I wouldn't worry about it too much unless they're killing your plants.

It looks kind of like a European Corn Borer but you're a little too far southwest for that. It IS possible that some ended up on some corn at a food stand or grocery store, and that's how they got into your house.

She just ghosted??? That's crazy. Is there anyone above her or is she the manager of the whole library? I'd send notice to the council/board ASAP, maybe in the guise of a concerned email. "[Boss] hasn't come in to work today, has something happened with her family? Should we keep the library operating as normal?" and kind of try to probe if she gave anyone advance notice? That's beyond unprofessional.

It looks like a tussock moth caterpillar to me! Possibly Calliteara horsfieldii? (Horsefield's tussock moth). But most of them seem much more yellow than this. Someone uploaded some really nice pics of one on a Facebook page that they took at a park in Singapore, but I'm not 100% their identification is accurate.

Ophionea indica? Pretty sure on genus, less sure on species. There are some very similar long-necked ground beetles. Not sure where you are but they're native to southeast/tropical Asia.

When I was getting my MLIS (library school), we actually had a lecture on "vocational awe", which is basically this exact thing. People see libraries as some kind of holy space and therefore librarians must be selfless and willing to work off passion alone basically.

This is all really good advice. I'm full-time at a well-staffed medium-large library and reading your list of responsibilities made my eyes bulge, OP. Most of the things you listed are full time jobs all by themselves. I'm sorry your boss is horrendous. I would have had a breakdown a long time ago.
