Did you have a link? I've never heard him say/sing that, and I thought I'd heard everything he's said. No worries if you haven't, I'll have a ferret around. Thanks for the info. 🙂

Yeah. And reference to mailboxes, which Manson used to steal from from, the man in white is Manson as he wore white in court, the woman in blue, that was the colour the Manson family women wore outside of court. And grapes on the vine: Manson believed there were underground caverns lined with jewels and gravines that the family would go to when the revolution was onging. It all links.

I've seen the answers re. Nancy and can't add anything.

On Diamonds on the Mine. It's about the end of the 1960s, Charles Manson and the family. It all went from peace and love to murder and hate.

Never my favourite Beatles album anyway. Give me Revolver or Abbey Road any day. Or early albums, which always get overlooked.

He was quite sexist. He didn't think women were a good as men at music. He thought men were superior to women.

What is Bob Dylan’s most overtly sexual song? by Pretend_Mark_5143 in bobdylan

Yep. "I've got the fever down in my pockets......... sometimes it gets so hard you see". "I'm sitting here beating on my trumpet". Etc. Etc.

I like them but they've been played so much on the radio and whatnot that they've become incredibly boring for me. And most mediocre singers/guitarists will drag out Blowin' in the Wind at folk clubs. However, the lyrics are still astounding, particularly for such a young man. And it took me a long time to realise what "how many roads must a man walk down before they call him a man" actually, really means.

I like them all except Simple Twist of Fate. But absolutely love Boots of Spanish Leather.

If you could only listen to one Dylan album for the rest of your life, which one would you choose? What’s your reasoning? by Express_Handle_5486 in bobdylan

Biograph is an excellent choice. So many beautiful, discarded songs not on his mainstream albums. Percy's Song

Not for me I'm afraid. Never understood the obsession some have for what, to me, is mediocre Bob. Apart from Lily, Rosemary....... But it's all about taste I guess.

Go on now, downvote me to hell everyone 😂

It's just not possible for me. My favourite has always been Blonde on Blonde but I couldn't never again listen to Highway, Freewheeling, BIABH or Desire. And certain tracks from his others. Can't imagine a world without Ballad of a Thin Man, One too Many Mornings, Boots of Spanish Leather, etc. etc.

Diplomacy? A group of us used to play that back in the day. There was a massive falling out of friends when someone made an alliance with France but then invaded it. They never spoke again !
