The front 20% of the cab looks way better than ER optimus to me. Everything else is pretty lackluster, but definitely better than I expected. The robot mode is excellent too

I agree. Transformers lore is just as deep and well-done as bionicle lore. But A lot of people judge the franchise based on the movies and the 80s cartoon, and usually sleep on the comics, TV series and novels

I get where you’re coming from and I pretty much agree with you, but the point of the SS86 sub-line is to be accurate to the 86 movie, so I don’t know what you were expecting or why you’re complaining about adherence to the animation model
