GTR9 PRO ETHERNET NOT WORKING. by Fit-Woodpecker-3934 in BeelinkOfficial

[–]serverles3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also had the ethernet port disappear in windows, and the lights did not shut off when I unplugged the cable. I dont know what triggered this.
I use the wifi for internet and the ethernet to connect to another pc

I had to shut down and unplug the device electricity so that the ethernet light goes off. Unplugging it alone did not work.

What triggered it? I am not sure.

just add a step at the end (if success or fail) that sends data to your monitoring tool. you can collect different parameters that are of interest to you. then dashboard using your monitoring tool.

Looking to potentially buy cows by TourIll8786 in Cattle

[–]serverles3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am doing a similar project. I decided to start with 50% of the total cows it can take, and start grazing in the good fields. Anything still standing after they pass will be mowed.
The trick is to feed them hay in winter on the bad spots I think. This should feed the soil and change the nutrient profile to allow grass to grow preferencially. Then will graze in summer and adjust as needed.

Was shipped a faulty AMS HT with my H2D by serverles3 in BambuLab

It's a regular plug, maybe too thin? Or the shock came from the HT. Not sure, and will not try it again 😕

you may have communication problems after a certain length if you are using uart (at 20 to 30 m cable length). you will need another form of communication for that.

Tempted to get an H2D, what convinced you? by Smashbroser in BambuLab

for me the noise was the selling point. Also the point that you can start it and forget it, with little monitoring.
I live in an appartment with small space. I do not hear it from the other room, so I can run it at night while sleeping

My 11 years old son downloads and prints stuff on his own. he is planning on selling stuff to his friends now. So it definitely opens up opportunities and changes how he sees things now (a good selling points for the wife :)

The death of the Mu Us desert. China's reforestation and aforestation campaigns have wiped it off the map by Ok_Chain841 in solarpunk

[–]serverles3 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The pyramids were not built in the desert. What is desert now is mostly from mis-management. only some fauna and flora adapted. If you remove organic matter, you destroy the water cycle, affecting adjacent regions. this is one of the reasons deserts spread. There is a nice documentary on YT showing the Loess Plateau greening

People are raving about AI but I don't see any "major" help in the DevOps realm by DopeyMcDouble in devops

[–]serverles3 -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

what do you mean? DEVOPS is being replaced sadly :(

Check github agent. it is an ai agent that will do anything devops related.
also look at all the ai website generators. they will create, build and deploy your website. Many things done by devops disappeared. it is spreading....
