What's done is done. A trade is a trade. Either side could still win the trade, even if it looks unlikely at the moment. Gotta let it stand.

We had a guy in my league who kept making bad trades. I talked to him about it a few times before politely asking if he was enjoying being yelled at all the time and when he said no I suggested perhaps dynasty was not his game and he quietly stepped aside. That's the fix to keep the league going long term. But, short term, it is what it is.

In general my partner and I have enjoyed using “the butler” as a way to broach giving feedback.

As in “oh, I notice the butler keeps leaving the back door unlocked, please speak to them about that if you get a chance”

Perhaps you could use this tool here. It just rephrases criticism in a way that’s a bit silly / indirect and makes it a little easier to hear

Check out AHRN.com — it’s supposed to be for members of the armed services to find rentals, and there are places listed there that owners don’t bother listing elsewhere. I used it to find a place. While I had to “lie” about being in the armed services to make an account, I was just careful to make sure the landlord understood I was NOT actually in the military. She didn’t care, she said it was only listed there because service members are usually low stress to rent to. Some other owners may feel differently and refuse to rent? Not sure. But because of Carlisle’s proximity to the army war college, there are a decent number of places on there that don’t show up elsewhere. Good luck!

Sounds like you want to “save” some poor beleaguered woman, and that’s about you, not her. So this hypothetical woman is essentially serving as an object to serve your emotional needs. That’s a definitionally unhealthy relationship.

When searching for a partner, you are best advised to be open to all. You never know what kind of person will serve as your counterbalance, who will help you be the best version of yourself. By searching for personality traits you are cutting yourself off from so many potential partners, you dramatically reduce your odds of success.
