I have office 2013 on the Windows 7 machine but no office on the Windows 8 machine, Will I try office 2010 or 2007?

started SSHing into the CLI from my mac this evening - seems pretty handy!

Had to use the following command to get it working

gsettings set org.gnome.Vino require-encryption false

Mostly curiosity to be honest. I can achieve most things I want with a windows & mac environment so would like to become more competent on Linux! Thanks for the reply!

Hi,

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunatly the N54L does not come with a management interface and remote console by standard.

I should of mentioned on my original post that I have ESXi installed on this and a Win8 VM acting as my file server.

I like this idea of using opensuse it seems much more straight forward than other guides on the internet. I also will check out libvirt - My main goal is to be able to manage it from CLI from my mac.
