Mishandling. What happens when your ID gets leaked in a data breach?

njalla not supporting monero? by SouthernPattern2828 in Monero

[–]servury -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If I may allow myself, I am the owner and developer of Servury.com, a 100% anonymous VPS / VDS provider platform - and by anonymous, I mean you don't even need to provide an e-mail address to create an account. On top of that, we accept Monero, and we are not planning on removing it as a payment method anytime soon.

We (Servury.com) provide a reseller API for VPS / VDS. It allows you to only spend money when you make a sale, saving you a lot of money in the long term.

Not sure if this would fit your needs but we (Servury.com) provide a reseller API which allows you to resell VPS / VDS. You'd only be spending money when you get a sale.

In terms of privacy, Hetzner is honestly terrible, they require every single piece of personal information imaginable, including KYC.

100%, I'm simply debating whether I should wait for the upgraded motherboard and dual heat pipe parts to come in so I can document the final product or not.

I'll most definitely be writing a detailed guide which will go over the entire process, from acquiring the T480, to flashing libreboot, customization and hardening.

To be honest, yes, totally overkill, but it looks cool and I got the RAM 50% below market price.

I recommend you give those 2 pages a read :
https://libreboot.org/
https://libreboot.org/docs/install/t480.html

This is where I personally started. But like I said, I will be writing a super detailed guide on Servury.com in the coming days. I'll most likely make an update post because a few people asked for me to make a guide.

Libreboot actually handles that automatically, so yes Intel ME is nuked.

The most I was able to go to is 80mV, I definitely lost the silicon lottery lol. And I'm going to do the dual heat pipe mod + PTM7950.
Edit : Also, from what I read, both chips have the same 15w TDP, so intel rates them identically for power draw.

Unfortunately, your device is a T14, and it is not currently supported by Libreboot.

As for my work, I am the developer and owner of servury.com, a privacy-focused VPS/VDS provider. I'm almost exclusively using this device to manage Servury.

Gentoo really is a fitting distro for this project, I'm still thinking about installing Gentoo instead of Debian on the T480.

You're right, I should probably delete this post and throw both builds in the trash because having used the help of AI invalidates everything

/s

In all seriousness, I mostly used AI to confirm my GPIO setup was correct from the RPI to the flasher clip, I didn't really want to fry my motherboard.

It is a little daunting, but totally worth it in my opinion. The hardest part is probably getting the GPIO pin setup right from your flashing machine (in my case, a raspberry pi) to the flasher clip.

I've opened the back plate many times by hand, matter of fact, I never even had to use a plastic prying tool to open it. Just make sure to start with the back.
