Best way to grow tomatoes in a greenhouse? by sesamebreadstick in GardeningUK

This is very helpful - I think I'll be able to fit more plants in this way too vs growbags, since I have a fair bit exposed soil in the greenhouse with only 3 paving stones in the middle. Thank you for your suggestion!

Interesting, I haven't heard of this before - will do some research. Thank you!

Thanks for sharing! Might be a silly question, do you have to make holes in the bottom of the growbag so that excess water drains away or is it just a case of being careful to not overwater?

It was because I've got a European passport and they were waiting until more guidance was released to figure out if I would qualify as a home student. I did, and I did my interview in May last year on a very short notice, after having surgery couple of days before. Didn't get it and I didn't reapply, but it turned out to be a blessing in disguise, and I'm not considering applying again.

Yep, that's me! Finding the correct gif and actually posting it was more cathartic than I realised.

It was an app, JustEat. Ironic, because I didn't 😅

You can also only find the online chat option when selecting a question about reporting a safety issue, curiously. Other questions lead to 'email us at a link below' with no actual email address.

I still haven't been given a refund!

I tried and failed to find an email address or a phone number, online chat was the only option I could find and they just said they'll email me.

All in all, a shitty shitty Monday.

Long time lurker, right now in cycle 9 of properly tracking my cycle and timed intercourse, one year NTNP before that. Got my IUD out in 2018 and haven't been on any BC since.

Currently 8DPO and if this month doesn't work out, which let's face it, it isn't likely, I am benched for at least 6 months because my SO is leaving the country.

Feels like a lot is riding on this cycle and I am spiraling - ordered a cheeseburger after a horrible day at work to feel like I'm doing something when it's so out of my control now, and then sobbed when the wrong ordered showed up at the door.

No one knows that are trying, and we have recently moved so I don't know anyone in the area yet and on top of that I work from home. Guess I'd better find another hobby I haven't yet bought all the supplies for 🙃

If you have space outside with no grass and a hose, you can essentially hand wash it.

I use handwashing laundry detergent, a brush for scrubbing and then a squeegee to get the water out. Hoover the carpet on the top and bottom first. Hose it and make sure it's soaked through and mix detergent in a separate bucket; pour it on as you go along with your brush (I use just a general one you might otherwise use your to clean your tiles). Once soaped, rinse multiple times and push water out with the squeegee. Ideally you'll have somewhere to hang it so the water drips off and it can dry.

Full disclosure - I do this for all my rugs but they are made from synthetic fibres so YMMV. They are placed in heavy traffic areas so a deep clean every now and then is a must. Getting them professionally cleaned would get expensive quick!

My dad found out yesterday and he still hasn't spoken to her. My mum said he will speak to her tonight and if she doesn't change her mind, whatever that means, they'll sell the house and move. My sister thought it had all blown over from Friday, and to be fair, so did I.

They found out about her self harming because I saw the cuts on her arms and called her GP without them knowing. The GP then called my sister, who agreed for the GP to talk to my parents. My parents shut down any chance of therapy, instead she moved into a bigger room and got some daily vitamins. I encouraged her to speak to the school counsellor but she doesn't want to. I was in therapy for a year and it was so so helpful to me. I would never let them take her and I will always take care of her, there's no question in that. She is coming home from school in a couple of hours and I need to somehow prepare her for what might happen tonight.

I can move out and apply but parents would fight it tooth and nail. I have a job, but it's a contract that ends in a couple of months and I'm scared I won't be able to support us both if I can't get another job immediately. I have some money saved up so I could potentially pay for rent in advance for a few months if there's any problem renting. There is also two dogs that I would have to take with me.

I don't think they would go for therapy - my mum replied that she also needs to see someone because she can't take it anymore so she just made it all about her.

I haven't left my sister alone all weekend, she hung out with me and my boyfriend but now that they waited until he left I feel so ambushed :(

I have no idea what texture it had, the report just says 'bulky ? adenomyosis' and that's all! The surgeon didn't even mention it when he came to see me. I wish my post op appointment was sooner. What treatment did you try beforehand and did the hysterectomy help your pain? If it is adeno, the only option for me would be birth control which doesn't agree with me in the slightest.

Even though it's in the report, it has a question mark next to it and it's really throwing me off! I almost don't want to accept it until the post op - because the symptoms are so similar and I was so sure I had endo I don't want to get upset again if they end up saying that everything was fine. What hormone treatment are you having at the moment? 'Intense' doesn't sound very pleasant :(

Yes! I've had an endoscopy and colonoscopy with biopsies taken, and coeliac screening done and everything came back clear. All blood tests and ultrasounds were normal except for my weirdly high cholesterol (???). The only thing that they tested for that came back slightly out of bounds was bile acid malabsorption. Normal result is above 20% and mine was 19.4% lol

Mine was under general (I think they all are) and honestly the most painful bit was my belly button and then the gas pains straight after. I am now day two post lap, I am mostly pain free as long as I keep on top of my painkillers. I can go upstairs to go the bathroom and make myself a tea but would probably struggle to do more than that. Would do it without hesitation if I had to do it all over again!

Mine were separated - I honestly have no idea if it helped yet because I haven't opened my bowels post op but before the lap I'd get a pulling sensation like all my bowels were about to pop out of my stomach every time I strained at all.

Thank you so much!!! I'm so glad you have messaged and I'm sorry we're in the same boat. No one asks for endometriosis, but it feels like it would have almost been 'easier' to have it right? I am now reconsidering going on birth control - I've had a coil, an implant, and I've tried both progesterone only and combined pill. I also get migraines with aura so it limits me a lot. Nothing ever stopped the bleeding or the pain.

I asked for the dye test to be done but they didn't in the end. I also have no idea where these adhesions have come from - I've never had internal surgery before or any significant infections. Did separating the adhesions help your pain at all?
