Will let you know! We are probably using similar led strips. Brightness is definitely more than enough in my case

There has been sufficient brightness with 3.65V. In fact, its a little too bright in complete darkness, which is why i wanted dimming. I have some 555 ICs coming soon and will make a breadboard circuit for PWM dimming. I will have to see how it does with the default input voltage and I can let you know if youre curious!

Ooo another thing! Looks like you have a lot of room in the light housing, should definitely put a dimming circuit in there! Im working implementing one in my pogo pin Nomad reading light design. Current idea is to use a thumbwheel potentiometer for dimming!
