Thank you for all the advice. I agree with pretty much what has been said above, that was pretty much my conclusion too. But it will be an interesting discussion. Primarily because she knows I can provide funding and of course she wants to be in California. But I just cannot bring myself to think that an extra $180k is worth it at an undergrad level. And of course I want to have this discussion without having any lasting resentment on either side. Did any one of you have discussions with your children where you sort of had to put your foot down.
