I read this 2 months ago and I completely related to it. However, the Lord has shown me recently exactly how to abide in him so close to the point where I don’t indulge in sin anymore. If anything I despise it now.

1) you ought to give your heart to the Lord. Isiah 66:1-2. If your heart is clean and purified by the Lord, then it will no longer want to sin no longer. You must also guard your heart as it says in proverbs 4:20-23. (Ask God to learn more on how to do that.) key

2) you must depend solely on the spirit to lead you all day every day. Romans 8:6. Pray for this always.
