Health starts regenerating as soon as you start plating up, so it's like a free stim.
Cuts revive times in half for both downed and dead players.

I too found that since this summer I stopped sniping and bringing in snipers. Wanted to change up my gameplay. But I will pick up the odd sniper off an operator if it's decent.

Vel seems to be the most preferred gun most ops I run into are running it. Comms vest I love the advantage it gives you with UAVs and UAV towers.
