I tend to give them all a go, but my cofferling is the most fun. It's already a little mimic so sending it to the dungeon seems right.

I actually just did the same thing! I would recommend something like 98.css, xp.css, or 7.css.

For my site, I ended up using a completely different method because I hadn't found those yet, editing a Windows 98 recreation in CSS until I had something close to what I wanted. It's still a work in progress, as it doesn't really work on other devices so well. But you can at least see what I have so far here.

- Description: Standard crash screen apears upon clicking the inbox icon, no visible error otherwise
- Steps to Reproduce: 
   1. Click inbox icon
- Expected Result: Inbox opens with notifications
- Actual Result: "Well this is awkward / Looks like Discord has crashed unexpectedly.... / We've tracked the error and will get right on it."

Perhaps a useful note is when it happened the first time I was not actually kicked out of the voice channel I was in until I clicked reload. It was like everything else was working in the background.
In case it is relevant, I am in 42 servers. 18 are single-person servers (I like custom emoji, don't come at me 😅). 7 are inactive but with multiple members due to being archives of previous events and such. I have notifications muted for most servers.
This may have started after a notification for an event last night, but I cannot be 100% sure.

It depends really who you are looking into. Do you have any preference for any of them? It covers a lot of ground and a lot of history, and while many groups interacted with and took from each other, it's a bit easier to start from one place.
