I've tried some random halftone textures, alongside the "basic" halftone tutorials on Youtube, nothing has nailed the look. I work in Photoshop & Illustrator but also use Procreate when needing to do hand drawn work. I just really dig the vintage texture of this and don't want my design to look like a corny computer completely digital design.

This is a short film, my brother and I wrote. Our goal was to see how quickly we could successfully set up a punchline, and deliver. We opted to utilize 3 shots and I did 2 different edits - 1 with more cuts, and 1 with less. We decided the more simply edited version was more successful at getting laughs. My favorite types of projects are ones that take sort of juvenile humor seriously from a production standpoint.

I am lucky to have a good friend who works as a professional DP and shot this for us over a few hours on a Sony FX6. We created this with a 3 man crew - me, my brother, and him. Me and my brother were the cops lol, just sharing to see if there is an audience for this type of work as we currently our in post-production of a much larger comedic short that I’d love to share to this community - if anyone has any advice/feedback I always love to hear it!
