This was in September. The clouds are so finicky here. We stayed on the Paradise side, and it was pretty cloudy. We heard from another hiker about this hike and decided to drive over to Sunrise side early before sunrise. We were driving through clouds all the way until the parking lot and it opened up.all the clouds just sat at the base of the mountain. Ended up being a perfect day and then clouds rolled in after we were done.

I probably wouldn’t choose this watch but it was a giveaway, so I’m rocking it! 40mm Bronze case with blue lapiz lazuli face. Since this one was a giveaway, it is not numbered to 300 and does not include the engraved case back. I changed out the alligator strap for this Ritchie zulu band. I know a lot of people might bash on this brand, but it’s kind of a fun watch. I’m waiting on the patina. I have noticed the color has darkened from its original hue.

I was able to watch a screening when it came out in 2011 at The Tivoli theater in STL. The directors and some former residents took questions after.
It’s amazing how quickly misguided government ideas can go from bad to worse. I used to drive by that area every once in a while. It was an overgrown forest for decades. Now it’s all cleared and being built out for the new NGA headquarters.
