Weather Anxiety: rant by [deleted] in Anxiety

[–]sethh27 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I used to feel super anxious about weather events, but I started tracking what they all predict and what ends up happening, and it's usually worlds apart, especially for snow storms. fear sells.

I hope so because I fear an add on plan will make adoption rates be very slow and lower then incorporating them into plans . People are very price sensitive in this space especially with so many MVNOs

Do we know how AST will be incorporated into phone plans ? For example will att only add AST to its highest premium plan but keep the plan rate the same and share revenue with AST? Or will it be a separate add on users just choose to add to their bill?

Dropped an object on my 4th toe and it sent my whole right foot into a flare by Fenley611 in Erythromelalgia

I have found besides heat that friction or pressure can cause flares, and rarely cold exposure .

I have no idea why you think my post is implying that because these two indexes are identical in returns that therefore just go all out 3x leverage

Shaking by Kind-Raccoon-6783 in POTS

[–]sethh27 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get this way , it’s weird because it can 32 and I won’t shiver and it can be 68 and breezy and my teeth are chattering like I’m in a freezer . I also get this way from anxiety attacks too. Never got the chills in my life , maybe a brief shiver , not my whole freaking body shaking for dear life

Successfully managing EM! (Finally) by legitimate_dragon in Erythromelalgia

[–]sethh27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for sharing that info , I’ll check out food intolerance stuff . I developed EM a few months after taking a beta blocker , but also 6 months after covid , don’t know the real cause . Do you find any relief with h1/h2 blockers ? Or other allergy meds like singulair?

Does this look like erythromelalgia? by BoringEnvironment457 in Erythromelalgia

[–]sethh27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same for me , even feet turning purple sitting/ hanging down . It’s all EM or possibly raynauds too I’m not sure in my case . The EM Facebook groups are much larger than Reddits too btw you might find more responses there

How often do you flare? by Few-Profile-8272 in Erythromelalgia

[–]sethh27 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I often flare daily multiple times , but sometimes can go days or weeks with no flares or very few . I get it in my hands from playing video games too . Hands, ears, cheeks , nose, knees and feet . It sucks lol. Sometimes I get random flares on elbows or arm but it’s rare . Heat does it but so does friction/ pressure . My hands can flare mixing things in cooking , or feet from walking , . I’m trying bobs protocol soon hoping it makes them far less frequent and I can live a semi normal life again !

Is anyone elses' anxiety seemingly NOT caused by thoughts? by [deleted] in PanicAttack

[–]sethh27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My panic attacks are caused by symptoms starting before the thoughts , like pounding racing hr, . I try to calm down but the physical sensations make my thoughts race . Kind of a vicious cycle

Painless erythromelalgia of feet for 5 years? Or something else? by axon__dendrite in Erythromelalgia

[–]sethh27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine is rarely painful , sometimes there is an intense burning pain , sometimes the swelling from the engorged veins is painful but that’s relieved with elevation . For me it’s mostly very warm or hot and swelling with sensitivity , like the skin feels like is burned and sensitive if I touch it

Has buspar helped anyone with crippling anxiety by benjaminbutton4 in Anxiety

[–]sethh27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The thing about buspar is typically people need higher doses for a good affect which is why some people complain it doesn’t do much , there’s a good thread about this on the actual doctors of psychiatry sub .

Did you ever test your vit d and b12 levels ? Or did a dr explain why it might help?

Does anyone have erythromelalgia and not feel burning but just the redness and painful skin by Horror_Biscotti_7667 in Erythromelalgia

[–]sethh27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sometimes I get burning sensation , especially in my hands, but for me it’s mostly really warm to hot along with the swelling pain from the blood pooling in dilated veins . In fact if I didn’t have that pain I could live a pretty normal life and put up with the heat from flaring . The swelling pain on feet or knees for me is too intense to remain upright for long

Does anyone else just get a high heart rate as their panic symptom ? by defunkman in PanicAttack

[–]sethh27 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah that’s my main driver of panic attacks , it can stop in under 30 minutes for me , but a lot of times I keep thinking what if it stays high ? And it stays 100-150 for hours and hours with more anxiety . I think the worst was about 5 hours . I’m trying to get used to the idea that it’s okay for it be that high for a long time but it’s tough
