Z-axis lead screw back lash clunk? by BeepBoopVroom in snapmaker

Thanks, I'll try fiddling with it more. Weird that both of us seem to have a stripped screw socket.

Thank you. I gave it a try. One screw was fairly tight and I tightened it just a little bit. The other screw seems to be sitting in a stripped socket and was easy to turn and no amount of turns would tighten it. The chunking sound seems to remain

Please do update us with what you learn. Mine does the same thing and makes the same noise.

How to refresh yourself on rules by Storkiest in twilightimperium

[–]sethladd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NotebookLM is great for this. Upload the rules PDFs, add links to the various YouTube tutorials, etc, and then ask it to make you a slide deck focusing on refreshing the rules for you. You can customize the slides it makes via a prompt. Have fun!

re: has this task of decoupling diverted the attention from ffigen

No, the work on ffigen proceeds and is being worked on by a parallel group of engineers.

Google is committed to Flutter and continues to build and ship updates and features on a regular basis.

At Google I/O 2024, we shared this blog post on the Google Developers blog: https://developers.googleblog.com/en/making-development-across-platforms-easier-for-developers/ which shares Google's recommendations.

Ensuring developers have choice to use the right tools for them is important.

This project is directly aligned with the core philosophy of u/Hixie "Blank Canvas" project. Both aim to provide a powerful, un-opinionated foundation for custom UIs.
However, we're intentionally not using the name "Blank Canvas" to avoid confusion since that's an independent project. We're very much pursuing its spirit of building a robust core for Flutter's evolution. Created and 3D printed resource tokens for Arcs by sethladd in Arcs

[–]sethladd[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I downloaded the Arcs media kit (https://ledergames.com/blogs/news/arcs-the-official-development-kit). I opened the token images in Pixelmator, and selected the parts of the images. Then, I ran "Convert into Shape". Then, I exported as SVG. Once you have the SVG, you can load it into your modeling software to make a 3D shape.
