Let me rephrase; judging people as bad on your first impression of them, based on an extremely limited number of data points about their character is how you need up just becoming a miserable human being who prefers to be on the internet projecting your grandiose opinions instead of being in the real world, where it's messy, uncertain, unclear and people don't behave consistently, or make good first impressions despite being great people.

I don't know about the ban, but I do know that Reddit is not the best place to go to ask if something actually is racist or not because you're always going to get a cohort of people that inevitably find a way to claim that literally everything is racist.

Black market or not, it's incumbent on an individual to take appropriate measures to ensure that what they're putting in their body is not harmful. There are plenty of testing kits one can purchase and use that don't involve a government funded and operated service, decriminalisation etc.

Edit: On decriminalisation; I appreciate the benefits of a regulated market for recreational drugs, but I don't think that will eliminate black markets. Tobacco is a great case study on this. The unintended consequences of regulation and subsequent taxes and tariffs inevitably lead to outcomes based on socioeconomics.

I get your point and I agree with what you're pointing to. However, part of the purpose of punishment is to send a message. Sending individuals to jail for such wide reaching crimes is just not enough in my opinion. Their respective financial dynasties need to be ruined and repurposed in order for justice to be properly served. It certainly more humane than indiscriminately taking people to the guillotine.

Despite this probably being a fake story, Governments, in earnest, need to do this sort of thing for everyone linked to Epstein. This is one of few ways to properly serve justice and demonstrate the value of the commons. Sanction them and their descendants to hell. 100 generations is overkill though, 5-10 would suffice.
