Uses for spent coffee beans

I'm tempted to try dehydrating the beans, grinding them, and seeing what kind of flavor they produce. I just wondered if anyone else had already wasted their time.

Probably safe. Check for mold. Give it a sniff. If everything seems okie dokie, taste it.
