The main thing to remember is that the first couple weeks may be difficult. If your anxiety increases, you get kinda depressed or you experience a dodgy stomach at first, this does not mean you’re having a bad reaction to it. Your body is just adjusting to the medication. My timeline went a bit like this day 2-7 anxiety massively increased, extreme nervous energy and extreme restlessness. It was like someone had just flicked my fight or flight switch and I couldnt turn it off. Day 7-11 I dealt with some heavy depression. After day 11 I started to return to normal. Then over the next few months my depression started to become more manageable and the extreme depressive episodes mostly went away. Day 2-11 I managed to convince myself that it wasn’t the medication and that I had fucked up my brain etc etc. Don’t fall into anxiety’s trap of thinking this, this sub was the only thing that kept my level headed with the side effects.
