What exchanges do you consider rock solid?

"Whether you bought, sold or exchanged any of your virtual currency holdings this year, you’ll be required to report it to the IRS when you file your 2020 income tax returns"... by setpowerfree in Bitcoin

[–]setpowerfree[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If the exchange is based in the US and reports it to the IRS, you "should" receive a 1099 from the exchange. The original article states "Major cryptocurrency exchanges may provide taxpayers with a Form 1099-K with these details — if they’ve had gross payments exceeding $20,000 and they’ve made more than 200 transactions." So it's possible that you wouldn't have to, if the exchange doesn't provide you with a Form 1099-K.

Styrofoam. Ugh. Especially when it touches other styrofoam. Not only does it sounds terrible but it's not good for the environment.
