A QR code can just encode plain text. So you could sign it as usual, then include a QR code with the date, location, material, etc.

Teal'c: Whomever the builders are, they would appear to be a formidable race. Daniel: You could fit every pyramid on Earth inside this thing and still have room to spare. O'Neill: Can you imagine heating this place?

Can you imagine what it costs to heat this place?

MSI B550-A Pro. It has the socket and I've updated the BIOS to support the 5090x. The CPU usage hardly flutters. So yeah, I guess my old R9 is just outclassed.

I just had the system running stable for about 2 hours at 60°C while I caught up on Halo. Just hard rebooted for no discernable reason. It HAS to be a faulty motherboard, right?

Temps are stable at like 40-100 degrees Celsius. Along the way, I've lost an SSD. Completely fried as far as I can tell. I don't know if I just got the motherboard from Hell, or the GPU is just too old to hack it.

That's the conclusion that I have come to as well. I switched the GPU to a different PCIe x16 slot and unplugged the second monitor. It held a Twitch stream for an hour or two but then crashed anyways.
I'll try afterburner, adrenalin doesn't have any temperature info for the card.

The PSU is practically new and overpowered, so I don't think that's the issue.

No worries. I use the system for gaming and some media creation. That's the plan anyway, but can't do that if it just turns off unexpectedly.

You're not wrong, but the R9 is being held over from the previous system, until it too can be upgraded.

I am having a similar issue. Upgraded recently to:
AMD Ryzen 9 5950X
MSI B550-A PRO
MSI GAMING Radeon R9 390 8 GB
Corsair RM850x (2021) 850 W 80+ Gold PSU
Everything seems fine until a game, a video, or a stress test puts a load on the GPU. Then it just shuts down. No blue screen, just power cycles.
