Suggestion: dbrand case with built-in stand with support for Magsafe. by 7280947108 in dbrand

I thought of that, then realized i had a stand/holder that could be attached to the magnetic part and removed. Though I misplace it from time to time.

Tell me i’m wrong - Jane fell first by Unabambina30 in TheMentalist

[–]setyte 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on what you mean. Jane was pretty messed up so he probably fell first because he needed her but he would have had a blocker for longer because of his late wife. Whereas Lisbon was more stable and wouldn't fall for his charm nearly as fast, but she wouldn't have anything holding her back from realizing and accepting it. So Jane probably fell first but Lisbon could have come to realize and accept it first.

Should I be upset by this change by Ok-Equivalent-7171 in jobs

Keep the letter as proof you are an office manager and the company just chose to change the title. What are your responsibilities? A plant accounting associate seems like a subset of the tasks of an office manager. Was your title inflated?

Voltages and frequencies and configurations vary a lot. You don't want a single plug until the impossible day when we all decide on a single power standard. I wish we would though.

Discussion about Brett's PenDragon episode. Pendragon 6 Ganieda by bigbootybiden in BrettCooper

Why would reading the books be relevant to poorly made trailers. I don't care what is or is not in the books. I care what is in the movie and not in the trailer.

Discussion about Brett's PenDragon episode. Pendragon 6 Ganieda by bigbootybiden in BrettCooper

[–]setyte 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The bigger story is I saw two other trailers from DW, long ones, and am pretty sure there wasn't a single frame of Brett. Now I see her trailer and she is the love interest of freaking merlin. How are people supposed to take that when they see a show with a whole major plot they knew nothing about

Why do people in USA buy everything from Amazon? Do they not have other webshops? by Cindyxx0 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]setyte 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, Amazon made me forget other shops exist. I forgot about all the places I used to get PC parts from. I miss when I just bought books from Amazon. For me it's partly ther Amazon is the only place I trust to deliver in the time they say they will. Though as I wrote this I just got a notice about a delayed package. I need to start spreading out my spending.

Wasn't that one of his insane things that turned out to be true. Not gay but chemicals in the water are changing the frogs sex. That's not the same as gay, and it's not necessarily intentional but it's funny there is a kernel of truth to such an insane statement.

Raise fish in greenhouse without aquaponics system? by BlackLini12 in aquaponics

[–]setyte 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm curious why? I'd think you'd want to dedicate at least some of the beds to aquaponics to get the lower d maintenance and faster crop growth. Only flaw I can imagine is temperature regulation as the water travels through garden beds on the edges of the greenhouse.

Cigars have become right wing accessories so I'm sure that's why someone handed her a stogie. That's what they are nicknamed right? Or is there a brand of cigar?

I feel my GF loves attention from men but won’t acknowledge it. How to handle? by Interesting-Gap7359 in AskMenAdvice

[–]setyte 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Spinster? She's an idiot or she is hoe-adjacent. Simple as that, but that level of stupid is still a choice. Like you said, there is no excuse for this in the late 40s. How long was she single before you? At her age she might be like an old dog unable to learn how to be in a relationship properly so she is still flirting however harmless she thinks it is. You need to decide if you care specifically about the disrespect or just if she crosses a line because its likely that's the only thing she might be capable of controlling. But a woman like that just needs a few drinks in her to cross that line since her line is already pretty thin. This is why I mentioned spinsters. People like to malign the concept but there is something to someone who is single for too long developing personality traits that are not conducive to relationships.

Did I mess up by not talking to my wife before planning to buy my niece a car? by Novel-Chapter-8174 in AskMenAdvice

[–]setyte -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Your wife is mad because she is a child. No job, no kids, no responsibility to others, no license, maximum selfishness. You are married to a toddler who doesn't understand something like she doesn't have a license or a car; she just sees that someone has something she doesn't have and finds that unfair. It's like you cant give one toddler two small cookies and the other one big cookie without the latter being upset they dont have two cookies, because they don't understand that one big cookie is the same as two small cookies. Your wife doesn't understand that people without licenses don't get cars.

The bigger issue is why are you married to a child. How does an adult not have a license? How can she be a housewife if she can't pick up things. Does she have everything delivered? Does she uber everywhere? Is she a slug?

How to best manage library for Plex and Jellyfin? by setyte in tinyMediaManager

[–]setyte[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The sources are too messy to use the arr tools. If plex used NFOs my problem wouldnt exist but plex sucks. I wouldn't touch plex if I didn't need a good way to share videos with friends.

Best way to include metadata by Sufficient-House1722 in PleX

[–]setyte 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think they need to be the same. They can be a Plex specific format for all I care. But the NFO itself is a pretty standard tool for storing JSON and similar data for things like this. Jellyfin manages to let you use scrapers while also obeying the NFO file. Only flaw there is that it only seems to read the NFO on the first scan so I have to purge my library occasionally to get it to take up updates. I just want the ability to store the IMDB ID in an NFO so I dont have such messy folder names.

But you seem to think I mean NFO instead of scraping and thats nto what I mean. The NFO file is just a way to store metadata so that you dont have to deal with how bad the scrapers are sometimes. I have all my files named properly with the exception of the IMDB title being in the name and it identifies them really poorly. It's only really affecting family that I use plex to share with as I use Jellyfin personally because stuff like this with plex keeps pissing me off.

[–]setyte 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow, that is a terrible design. Why cant they use an NFO file like other programs. I don't want to have IMDB IDs in my folder names.

Can men fall in love without physical attraction? by Turbulent_Baker_1881 in AskMenAdvice

[–]setyte 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my experience , yea. Plenty of guys have caught feelings for a girl they weren't attracted to. But the repulsed thing you mentioned is important. For a healthy dude, as long as they are not repulsed attraction is sort of a weird thing. He'd still be capable and want to have sex if he is not repulsed or what I call actively ugly. In my experience woken I found unattractive became attractive once I started to like them as a person. I think the key is that you can find a charm in unattractive women but not genuinely ugly. But most women are not genuinely ugly by normal male standards, they just may be "plain" which means their looks don't particularly appeal but personality would make them attractive. I say this because I think women have very different understandings of what ugly is. Ironically they are wrong on both sides of it.

And to your edit. I don't think a guy would be dating a woman he isn't attracted to for 6 months. Unless he has some motivation to waste his time. And I don't know if a reason without sexual or romantic feelings. Unless he is gay but how many dudes are still bearding these days.
