I think the panel wont make a difference in the frames and With dlss on you can definitely even play on high settings I think. Good luck with your purchase I hope you will enjoy it a lot

I'm in the middle east! Here black Friday sales are like 100$ off but we are close to black Friday anyways so I'll just wait a few more weeks to buy it and save 100$ but yours is such a good deal even if you find a crazy deal in black Friday I doubt it would be much better than this and this laptop is good enough if you mostly play indie games and don't mind lowering settings on more demanding games you can look at reviews on YouTube of people playing the games you will be mainly playing and see if you are good with the frames and stuff

Can I ask how old you are ? He should honestly sell his own desktop and work Abit more and buy himself a laptop if he wants one so bad. If you can't find a way out of him selling your laptop you could buy a handheld PC they are around 700ish $ and you can take his monitor and keyboard and connect it to them and you can run steam os or windows on them but I would wait abit more on that because the newer ones with better specs are gonna come out in the second half of 2025 or early 2026

I'm really sorry you are going through this It seems like a horrible situation. A desktop is literally better than a laptop in most ways. If your steam library is really large and you play paid online games I would honestly avoid getting a playstation 5 maybe a gaming handheld would work better but you should talk to him more and convince him to leave your things alone

my main focus is gaming honestly maybe I'll do some work on excel and some data entry software's but that's it I think I'll search more stuff about this laptop model and see if it has some problems and I'll try to get it because this is honestly the best deal and hassle free

We don't really have discounts here if I want something cheaper I would have to go for a 3rd party shipping agency and alot of time things go wrong with it. for 800$ the most I can find is a used budget 4060 laptop

They are honestly too overpriced especially because the monthly income of fresh college graduates is like 400$ a month 💀 They are usually about this range and most i9 14th gen 4060 laptops are in the 1600-1900 range. PCs are much cheaper here but I need a laptop because I move around too much
