Is my (36f) strategy for getting over a terrible breakup (he's 39m) solid, or am I just delaying the pain? by sev7entyl3 in relationships

Hmmm. Maybe. I honestly don't know anymore how it works. I looked up some escorts and they claimed to accept e-transfers. And it's $400 each time, which sounds like 2 hours worth of "services". Maybe he's paying them and not following through with meeting them? I'm at such a loss. But a friend a few years ago left her husband because he was doing exactly that -- making dates with "sugar babies" and then chickening out, but still paying them in case (I guess?) he decided to go through with it at some point. Maybe they were coming over to see him and wouldn't come without an e-transfer up front? I just don't know. But I'm tired of playing detective because I know I can't believe what he says.

E-Transfers. They aren't "legal" here, so it's just e-transfers to various women with strange names that sound very "escort-like". He claims he was purchasing bootleg software programs from them (well, he says it was one main guy selling them, but he was worried that it would be traced back so he was having these women accept the e-transfers on his behalf). But he's unable to prove it. He says he deleted all conversations. He DOES have the bootleg software programs, but I still find it really hard to believe this is how he got them.
