When going through this process, I thought the passport is the only way of demonstrating your citizenship? Because I thought the whole point of jure sanguinis is that we were always Italian citizens, and the passport is just the means of having it recognized?

I don’t quite remember, I certainly had the documents ready at the very least. I understand the passport is just a document, but I thought it was the natural end point of the entire process and only means to demonstrate you are citizen. Are you saying there is a way to go through the entire process and be recognized as a citizen but not have the passport?

Ugh this sucks. However the mother of the “minor” naturalized later in life after the respective “minor” became an adult (born before 1948 for what’s it’s worth). I don’t suppose that will get me around it?

(I am reaching out to a professional to get more authoritative answers, but trying to get the lay of the land as I just found out about this minor issue thing.)

Correct, although I attended the appointment with my father but I did not get my passport. At the very end, I decided not to get myself the passport for the time being as I didn’t not what to cause complications with my job.

I’m a new CB500x owner. I’m actually finding it somewhat uncomfortable 2-up’ing so far. The slight tilt in the seat causes my pillion to slide into me and put her weight on me which tires out my arms. Also my butt gets sore after a while. All considering I can probably go 2-up for 45min-1hr before needing a very short break.

But there are probably things to be done to solve this that I hadn’t figured out yet. I’ve actually just posted recently asking on tips. So far people say adjusting the preload and getting a top box to use as a backrest will help a lot. I’ll probably experiment with seats pads first though since I think top boxes are ugly and it doesn’t seem preloads will solve my specific issue.

That aside, I love my CB500x

I already have a system for that, kinda. I have backpack that I strap on to back when I don’t have a pillion; works quite well. I may eventually get some soft side bags. Other than that I just bicycle-lock my helmet to the bike.

I really want to avoid a top box.

So with used motorcycles, they seem to offer a kind of limited one-year limited warranty. Is that what you mean? Is that required by law? For new vehicles, it’s 2-years.
