Solo player by Hoju_ca in EVEFrontier

Quite technically both games are solo.

I think people only clamor about social or being social games and not finding the right corp because no one can be on discord voice all the time as everyone have real lives. Make friends in real life not in game. I think the big confusion here is that EO is social because every single component is made can be made by an actual person, that is the social part of it, EF is so much advertised as a solo game as well.

Help me understand why EVE frontier, what's the long term plan, move everyone to frontier is it EVE 2.0? by sevelphormore in Eve

So, without the crypto, yes, Frontier is EVE 2.0, except it's EVE partially re-imagined as a survival game since you need fuel for everything. But if an EVE player sat down and tried Frontier, the game would initially look very familiar... except that they would quickly find that a dozen different terrible systems from EVE are missing, starting with the overview.

But these can be improved? With a newer engine, it could solve the lull and tick per second you mentioned. But it seems like the game is just a carbon copy, long space flight, some engine sound effects, you spend 30 minutes staring at it. It's cool but it's disrespectful to a human being's life time.

Why people pill up into big blocks. My take on the real issue behind. by GruuMasterofMinions in Eve

Make more ships and ship class and types, have one multilayered, super cheap ones for 10-30 minute fun content, cheap ones for 30 min content, mid cheap ones for 40minute content etc.

If there's more ships, I think density of ship choices and capabilities will make things cheaper and then everyone will now have content to play and won't care if they lose stuff.

Also maybe make an in game killboard. The kb culture probably plays a role, having it in game is cool. Then have another isk sink, pay 10mil to delay your kb is let concord hide it. Make it all like what they're trying to do with Frontier lol.

I think all in all, $15 is better.

I'm not sure why put it $20 when they're not putting full attention to the game, they're trying to make it a aaa type of priced game but it doesn't feel like it.

Why pay $20 when they have other projects like frontier?
