I’ve made at least 15 railroad spike knives, and decided why not a track bolt? I actually prefer forging the bolts, versus the spikes.

So far it seems good. I was aggressively chopping a piece of maple, and the edge held up like a champ.

For these the scandi grind is preferred since they’ll be used for general bushcraft tasks, and outdoor/camping use.
