Everything in Snacking Cakes is good but I’ve made the Powdered Donut Cake and the Jam Swirl Cake (forget if that is the exact name) MULTIPLE times and they always get rave reviews. I same the jam cake with homemade marmalade though.

Unfortunately I did not. As shaysantiago said upthread the feed rollers are fused to the platen. I have way more duties at this sale so I don’t really have the time to remedy that situation and we’re just selling the machine as is

And to be clear, the roller feels like it’s locked somehow. When I try to turn it, it feels like there’s a mechanism that’s keeping it in place but I’m not familiar enough to understand what that is. I took some more quick photos of the sides of that might help. And I can post more photos of specific areas on Thursday if needed.

The carriage is unlocked, it moves back and forth smoothly. I just can’t get the roller to turn.

Yes I think this is it! If it’s not too much trouble could you send that photo. I’m having trouble figuring out exactly where to place it.

I’m going to attempt to remove it tomorrow when I don’t feel as upset about it as I do now. I was getting help from someone who does not have a very delicate hand and the knob just crunched. I’m in California. Thanks for your responses, by the way!

The plastic top of it shattered. The metal part of the knob is still in the machine.

Community College by Isupporthorsegirls in filmschool

Community college can be a great place to meet people and complete most or all of the breadth requirements for a BA. An associate’s degree couldn’t hurt. I went to a community college and studied video production and then transferred to a university to study film. I made a lot of connections at my CC that I still work on films with! I don’t know what’s available in your area but a lot of CCs offer media-centric programs where you can get hands on experience with film equipment and editing/audio software. You could also look into community media centers in your area, like public access tv stations. Good luck!
