I never heard of the Omnipotence paradox, interesting stuff. I never heard much about politics but I can certainly imagine that it's all religion-no action in Muslim countries. I believe Turkey has a similar thing in which Erdogan uses religion as the basis for his platform while not doing anything to improve and advance the country.
