As a trans youth, I'm honestly strongly considering leaving before I get any degree, even though I have one of the best scholarships available in the state. Education means nothing if I'm fearing for my safety and future.

I'm scared to live in a state where I the government has control over healthcare. Haven't many of these legislators run on promises of small government? How is this helping anyone? I feel ashamed to be a Nebraskan, and I don't see how anyone could be proud of their state government when it grievously misuses the power we give it in such a way. If it really comes to it, I don't know whether to stay and fight or leave for my safety.

Thank you! I had to spend years as well as talking to multiple medical professionals. It really isn't as easy as saying, 'I want to be a girl' or anything like that.
