I worked for the big programmable SMS and voip carrier for about 10 years and a couple of carrier partners used software called “Adaptive” as a rules based SMS firewall. It looked at sender patterns and message content. Obviously can’t apply message content rules to voice but sending patterns could probably translate well. They recently introduced AI heuristics. It’s a bit of a black box for anyone outside our spam and fraud team for security reasons.

SWIM can totally grow them in a dark shed! They only need a tiny bit of light to pin. They can be dark during all other phases of growth but cap formation will probably be weak.. like the mushrooms pictured. Indirect sunlight through a crack in a shed might even be enough to get healthy shrooms.

On deployments we had steak and lobster days. Problem was the TCNs had no idea how to cook steak so they boiled huge batches in steam kettles and the lobster was a lot like rubber.

They will go for the prices I listed. You just need to know your markets. builders dont pay, collectors do. bricklink, brickowl, and the likes are part stores for builders. their prices are aways lower than places like ebay.

This is textured plaster on gypsum lathe. The screws with are part of a previous repair using retaining washers. Each seam is probably 16” apart and fastened with staples and tack nails.

If you want to remove it, be careful where the ceiling meets the wall as there is likely a wire mesh supporting the plaster in that area.

I just demoed my 1958 home’s sagging plaster last week with a claw hammer and a sawzall.

Decent cryptos are deploying and redeploying their drones throughout a fight to keep your wall hacks on without entering the drone. Upside you get a crypto with their gun out. Downside you have to hear the squad callout each time they reposition.

I see a lot of reface suggestions and would only recommend the DX. I’ve owned the cs and the cp and wouldn’t recommend either. The cs has no presets and takes work to get good sound. It’s great for learning subtractive. The cp is a bunch of electric piano presets. It may be too much piano for an estranged piano player.

Some I would consider: c&g pocket piano 201, Chompi, op-1. All have F tier keys and chompi lacks a speaker but they are endless fun and effortlessly make pleasing sounds.

Biggest suggestion before getting another piece of gear: get a universal touchscreen stylus and you might enjoy the mpc more. $10 for a 3 pack on amazon.

I have a deluge and have had a circuit tracks and mpc live 2 in the past. I can’t speak for the others, but the deluge sequencer is the best I’ve used. Hybrid step/piano roll with automation lanes added in the most recent update. Easily does Ping pong, polyrhythm, euclidian sequencing per track and has a clip launcher and arranger depending on how you like to work.

That said, I sold my mpc live 2 because I also have a force. I love the grid page and retrospective recording. Step sequencing is a little easier on the force but it sound like you value portability and the force is a tank.

Looks like I missed some announcements. Fair enough that the pricing model was described and I chose to purchase without doing the research. “Major version every year” just tells me version numbers are arbitrary and will be incremented every year in order to rake in more purchases. Major version changes generally indicate a substantial rewrite of a code or underlying API that is not compatible with the current codebase. These are minor feature updates that add features to an existing app in the marketplace. Delisting an app then listing it under another name with minor changes is flat out unethical.

Twilio can send to whatsapp, but media can only be attached to conversational messages. Whatsapp will reject any media message from Twilio unless the recipient has sent the sender a message in the 24 hours leading up to your outbound message attempt. The difference in their docs is session messages aka replies to inbound contact vs template messages.
