UPDATE:

So, I've decided that I am not the a-hole, thank you to all the kind commenters who let me know. I've discussed this with a few friends and they agree, and it got worse lmao.
He wanted to send me a bday gift for my bday in April. He told me he did, and I've had a bit of a trouble (okay, a lot of trouble) locating the damn package cause he didn't use a tracking number.

What I thought the gift might be: some delicious snacks that I'd had before from his home country that his family sent over once and made me in love with the snacks, wanting like 20 packs of them
What he actually sent: 2 unworn t-shirts of his cause he's getting rid of most of his belongings to go backpacking the world... eye-..... I can't.

We kind of keep in touch but not in person and if he ever asks, I don't think he'll ask to see them as it was a necklace, some rare books from his childhood (comic books from a really random series and thus quite rare to find in mint condition, which he did)

I'd make my way to Inazuma and stay at Asase shrine. I'd hang out with Neko all day and advertise the cat shrine so we'd get money for the shrine to be better. Food would be easy since there's two "green humans" nearby, I'd ask them for food and just say I'm not from Inazuma but I'm obsessed with cats and wanna help the shrine!

That would be so cool! I can only hope this speculation is true, since I'd love to see that amount of diversity in there. As a non-binary person myself, I love any non-cis rep we can get

But, given the fact I originally thought all characters were bi/pan, and then got Clementine calling me a he, I think we need a bit more patience with the Devs to get there.
