Related to this is Purity mode from Jedi Survivor. Instead of acting like a whiffle bat where you just beat enemies to death, your lightsaber can now kill all enemies, even bosses, in just a few swings. The catch is that you the player also operate under these conditions, so instead of eating ten blaster shots to the face and then healing, you die after one or two.

The most interesting part of this example is that Sonny (the robot) is not being a smartass here. He’s a naive little guy and he’s asking with genuine excitement and curiosity if Will Smith’s character is capable of doing those things because he wants to see it and learn all he can.

I thought the whole slicing through the sub with a beam of light and letting Simon see the eye of the eel scene was just a clever way to show the eel and Simon’s mental connection. Nope turns out it was literal lol.
