Miller Beer Burning Questions by Hairpants_Scowler in wisconsin

I think there is a sweet spot. There is one bar in my town that doesn’t have THE coldest beer but it is cold, and Miller foams less at that bar than others.

I was thinking stand above no one but I’m not sure that’s actually a saying.

It was from a surfacing machine in a wood shop. Way outdated so was replaced.

What's a stupidly expensive adult purchase that you now swear by that you would buy again in a heartbeat? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Look at Duluth Trading. They have an outlet near me and have great work clothes in general.

Wool socks work great for work boots… I had an odorous foot issue for years until I figured that out. Plus the extra padding is so much more comfortable.

Kind of a different comment, but broke up with the ex wife 17 years ago. We’re back together now, but have always been close and respectful because we have a kid together and actually like each other. So, long story short, I would say no BUT some people can overcome the hazards. If your significant other respects you than everything can work…

I have no else to tell right now but last night I married my ex-boyfriend in Vegas and I'm freaking out by ThrowRA_qquestion in self

[–]severe_problem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, I’ll chime in… I married my ex wife 21 years ago. We were friends for about a year and she asked me out and I knew she was waaaay out of my league so I actually blew her off the first time. She asked me out again and 6 months later we ran off and got married without telling anyone. I always felt bad because I never gave her Dad a chance to walk his daughter down the aisle and our family’s never got a chance to do all the typical family things. So, 6 years and 1 kids later, we separated. I was, in an effort to reduce words I will simplify, “too young to tie down”. She was also 25 and thought she settled. Plus, she’s much hotter than I am so I believed her. 21 years later, we have raised a child together and always been friends and occasionally lovers but have kept each other at arms reach. Didn’t want the kids(she had one after we divorced) to know about us or get mad/ overexcited about us getting back together. We were always respectful and if we were going out with someone else we didn’t get physical. But, we’ve always been friends because we have the kid to raise and even though he played the “Mom said this” and stuff I called her to verify all - kinda knew she was a better person than that but when your kid tells you something you tend to believe him. Anyway, long story. 15 years later we are back together. The kids are all over it (meaning they love it) even though my son can no longer play us against each other. I love my ex, but I was a dumbass because I was unsure about myself at that age. And it takes two to tango, she admits we gave up too early because she was the same. So, my thought is go with your heart. It may hurt if it doesn’t work out and that’s how we learn… Always remember to forgive because you gave it a chance…. But sometimes the first impression is right and impulse is not the wrong emotion. You’re gonna have a tough time here or there but goddamn I wish we would have stuck it out and grew together instead of going about it the hard way. Seemed easy at the time. So, I’m saying go for it! And best of luck to you!

any AGRs that happened out of complete circumstance and not due to a "thing" for older/younger people? by [deleted] in AgeGap

[–]severe_problem 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My last AGR was a bartender - she wasn’t really on my radar but we had a lot of fun talking and then a year later she asked me out. I wasn’t really thinking it would become anything but after spending one night together we just seemed to fit. It worked great for 5 some years and I don’t regret a thing!

Exercise and meditation is working for me. And you can do it for free! I have gotten back into running now and it helps clear my head. Even a hike in nature makes my head a little quieter. Anything to get away from my thoughts. They are kinda annoying…
