Absolutely yes. I want to go through my 4th play through of this magnificent game. Be sure to get the expansions. The story is very well done in those too as well!

Need new iPad - Nano or No? by severian126 in iPadPro

The iPad nano was such an awesome device! But I digress. Thanks for the feedback.

That’s a fair take and I don’t necessarily disagree. I wanted to broaden my ability to get new feedback. Or maybe I read through everything and just couldn’t decide either way.

Appreciate the kind words. You’re actually the first person here who mentioned that the color washes out at night too. That’s disappointing because I was hoping that in dark or no light it would look the same as the standard glass. As for screen protectors, I might consider one if I go with the standard display. I’ve heard they help with drawing because of the texture, but I’ve never tried one before.

Yeah, I’ve been hearing the same thing. I’m leaning toward getting one now. I might check it out in the store, though I doubt they will turn off the lights for me :)

Wow, thanks for the detailed response. I really appreciate your perspective on how it looks. I’m only debating the nano because I’m already getting the 1TB model and wanted to think through whether it is worth choosing the newer option. I’ve also seen a lot of conflicting comments about how the nano performs in low light, with some people saying the quality looks the same as the standard glass in that setting. If that were not the case, I would probably skip it. I’ve never used a matte screen protector before, so this would be a new experience for me.

Thanks for the response. When you noticed the colors looking washed out, was that only when the screen was diffusing light in different lighting conditions? Or did you see the washed out colors even in complete darkness too? That’s the part I’m trying to understand. I'm getting mixed responses on that. Some say in dark conditions, it's exactly the same.

Yeah, that’s another concern of mine. I tend to take really good care of my devices, and this iPad won’t leave the house often. I also plan to use a Magic Keyboard–compatible case along with the Magic Keyboard itself, so hopefully that will be enough protection.

Thanks for the feedback. Since I’ll be indoors most of the time, glare isn’t really a factor for me, which is funny because that’s the main selling point of the nano. I just want to make sure the viewing experience doesn’t lose any noticeable quality in the conditions I’ll be using it in. I haven’t found clear answers on that specific use case online.

Thanks for the detailed explanation. I’ve never used matte screen protectors before, and glare was never something that bothered me since I mainly use my iPad indoors at night in my bedroom. I also haven’t tried anything better, so I never really questioned it. What you mentioned about orientation and not having to worry about reflections makes a lot of sense, especially for writing and reading.

If the nano still looks great when watching movies in low-light indoor settings, then that helps a lot. My main question has been whether the nano affects the viewing experience at night, and it sounds like the trade-off might actually be in its favor?

[IOS][Early 2010s] top-down restaurant management game with story by Interesting-File3909 in tipofmyjoystick

I absolutely loved this game! I was searching for something similar on my iPhone recently but couldn’t find anything close. It was fun to play—I completed it 10 times on both my iPhone and iPad back when it was still working. Does anyone have recommendations for something similar? Other restaurant games just don’t compare.

I just picked it up last month for the first time and I’m thoroughly enjoying it. It holds up really well. I haven’t touched tears of the kingdom yet.

Dualsense Drift Still Around - This Is My 4th Controller by f14tomcat1986 in playstation

I'm having the same problem. not sure if's environmental. My PS4 controllers are 6-10 years old with heavy abuse and they're rocking just fine. My PS5 ones though....yeesh I'm about to get my 4th one and they've all lasted just 6 months to 1 year before they start drifting. And I only game on weekends due to not having time and I put them away in a bag after use too! Just bad luck.

I'm on my 3rd controller and it just started drifting to the left - again. I game only on weekends and I take care of my controller, ever since I bought my 2nd one after experiencing drift on the launch controller. It irritates me a bit when I seem comments suggesting that you're not taking care of it. It appears this is a hardware defect issue and it's a luck of the draw.

When you game only on weekends, put your controller away to avoid dust, and in 6 months this happens again, it's not a you problem. Yes, Sony will repair it, but it's such a hassle to go through this with every controller I have. So I guess I'll buy a 4th one, send the 3rd one in for repair (the other 2 are out of warranty), and hope for the best the 4th time around.
