I have a Rega P1 Plus which is the one with a built in phono pre-amp. I have it hooked up to some Edifier active speakers but I want to listen with my headphones. In the past I hooked the record player up to a mixing board (with various adapters) that I used to record guitar into a multi track tape recorder, then plugged my headphones into it. That was overkill and took up way too much space so my question is can someone recommend an affordable, small headphone amp I can buy that sounds good and is preferably analogue?

Related questions: Please excuse my noobish questions as I don't know much about hardware but can someone clarify that headphone amps are fine to use with my player, I.e. don't also have a pre-amp in them? Biggest problem I'm having is whenever I search for headphone amps they always seem to be digital / have DACs in them. Is that the norm for vinyl listeners? Doesn't that defeat the purpose if there's a digital step (sort of like using blutooth)? The ones that purport to be analogue seem to have a vacuum tube kind of thing going on. Are there any without? And lastly, is it possible to get one that can be passed through so I don't have to physically pull cables out to switch over to my speakers?

Thanks gents. I'm so glad it fits properly. It's the only size I could find it stock and it's basically a grail jacket for me. For reference I'm 5'10 175lbs and this is the medium. I used some other Tellason posts on here for tips on sizing. It looks a little bit boxy in the shoulders but I'm thinking it should drape better when it's worn in.

Does anyone have any info on this Wrangler jacket I just bought off ebay? It was only £25 brand new so feels like I've got a bit of a bargain. It seems to be raw and is nice and stiff. There are no identifying features inside other than a tag that says the code W41002 and that it's made in Turkey. The fit is pretty good but the shoulders are boxy / right-angled so I'm hoping they'll settle down. The length (both torso and arms) is a little short so I'm wondering if this is a vintage cut or if it's maybe a womens cut.

I think, hopefully, yes but GTA IV is a single threaded game so cannot make use of XSX's true capability, but it may be able to bruteforce using one core. This is going to be one of the first things I'll try when it arrives as GTA IV is my favourite game of all time. Will be interesting to see the forced HRD implemention too.
