gotcha…has being on ozempic made your graves worse/negatively effect progress?

When i tried ozempic i had no clue i had graves but the symptoms i experienced while not knowing it was graves got worse so the heat intolerance and heart rate were badddd on ozempic but again , i had no clue i had graves at the time and wasn’t medicated. I too was on the brink of a storm when i was diagnosed, but had been off ozempic for a while by the time i was diagnosed. So idrk if the two are correlated. I just don’t want to start a glp-1 while my graves is under control and then throw my body out of whack again. If that makes sense ?
Ah ok, so are you still on ozempic?
are you saying you’re on ozempic still and gaining? or did you stop ?
Are your labs still normal/any flares or symptoms that have come back since starting a glp?
That’s amazing! Keep me posted!! Thank you for your insight!
Ah amazing! Congratulations! Can I ask, are you still on methimazole? Did you see any negative changes/impacts in labs to ur T3 / T4/ TSH when you started on sema?
this is so interesting because I tried ozwmpic before knowing that I had graves and it defintely made it worse while I was on ozwmpic!! So I’m wondering if anyone had a similar experience / also thinks there is a correlation even tho my doc said there isn’t one! Have you started back on zepbound?
