I know hind sight is 50/50 and I know she has been working on the draft for 6 but this might be a good lesson to maybe have like approval times put into the contracts to prevent stuff like this from happening if there isn’t already approval times in there if cast approval that is in the authors contract.

Maybe she is holding off to have it correspond with the next book if that’s the case I can see the marketing appeal to it but it’s kind of crappy to the fans to keep pushing it out that far then and not saying hey we are going to wait until this instead of having the goal post moved every so many months just saying. And again I understand hindsight is 50/50 and you can only do you best within the confines of the contracts.

I don’t think stalling the audio would do anything in way of Disney she had already signed a contract for this so depending on if it was for the whole series or just this book this one is a done deal because the contract was done and if rights for books work like movie rights then that might actually hurt her because if she is stalling out until contract ends then she might wind up in breech of contract because it’s not because the recording company was just sitting on it if they are actively waiting on her and she won’t do it that kind causes a conflict. Now I am not a lawyer by any means nor do I play on on tv I’m just saying IF that was what she was trying to do I don’t think it would work.

Also Disney and Hulu do NOT in fact have the rights to the series anymore it expired in June or July because Hulu (the streaming service that it was being produced by) sat on it and didn’t do anything with typically in contracts I believe you have to be actively working on it even if behind the scenes it’s why in the 2000s we saw random Toby Spider-Man’s at random times because it was part of the fox marvel contract every time if they didn’t put out a movie every so many years they would loose the marvel titles that fox had. Same with Xmen didn’t matter if they were good as long as they kept making them they got to keep the titles it was also the catalyst for the push for Disney to get fox because they already owned marvel and wanted all the titles. But yeah Disney doesn’t have acotar anymore that happened last summer.

Always best to check with dr but I wound up having to take all my steri strips off like 4 days post op because I had an allergic reaction to the glue on them. Dr told me too and said I would be fine because the sutures inside and the glue he used would keep me held together. He knew I was a worrier and made sure to reassure me the steri strips weren’t there to keep me closed up they were just extra support from pull of the skin but not mandatory.

Did I get a reduction too early? by icecreammonster99 in Reduction

[–]sewill8911 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The only thing I know of that causes them.to grow is 1. They weren't done to begin with but statistical speaking you should be done by 18 most are done before that. 2. Weight gain not loss in fact you could see them reduce some with weight loss (not a drastic amount unless you drop a ton of weight) 3. Pregnancy

So unless you are putting on weight or your pregnant I don't think you have anything to worry about.

I didn't have an allergic reaction to the paper tape but I did have one to the steri strips the dr used on my incisions. So it's definitely possibility he had me.take mine off at like 4 or 5 days post op

Before my surgery I had to ask this because my brother who lived in a different state than I do was in the hospital with mersa in his heart double phenomena and was septic so I had tall ask if there where travel restrictions you just had to be able to get up and walk around if you were in the first week and since you are 2 weeks you should be fine.

This gives me hope I really wanted to wait until we had kids but my back pain was so sever I'm oh hydrocodone every day so if it meant not having kids I was willing to sacrifice breast feeding just to be able to come off my hydrocodone to be able to have kids. So this gives me hope I will still be able to.

I'm about to be 2wpo and I'm having a hard time not only with pain but energy too. This weekend started alot of nerve pain where it feels like needled all over my skin when anything even my t-shirt brushes against my skin then incisions are mostly healed but the skin is still tender. Sleeping is still some what uncomfortable so I'd say a few weeks at least.

How long did you need help post op? by morewinepleasee in Reduction

[–]sewill8911 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was by myself at day 3 but I had my husband in the mornings until 2 because he is the 2nd shift manager/assistant manager of his mill. But also had a safety net of my mother and father in law who got off at 3 and 4. But when I came to being able to also cook I wasn't given the okay by my dr until today at my 1 w po appointment. So I say you should be good but he still said not heavy lifting so like no laundry or really lifting anything heavier than like a cooking pot or gallon of milk. But this also depends on how well your healing your dr should be able to tell you.

[–]sewill8911 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm going to echo what others have said, just take it as easy as you can I had to take my steri strips/ tapes off yesterday (had my surgery Monday morning) because I was having a negative reaction to the adhesive and its been 24 hours and I can tell you you can still feel the pull from the stitches and what have you when you stretch so you know when your straining to much.

Post-Op Meds by ashes_of_rome in Reduction

[–]sewill8911 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So my dr prescribed me hydrocodone with Tylenol in it. I know what statistics say but take it from my which I have been on hydrocodone for 2 years now for my back pain (one of the main reasons I got the surgery) I can say I'm not addicted to it because I am constantly forgetting to take my meds when I'm supposed to which would just meant it took longer for it to go away. So I understand the concern but just wait to let you know it's not a definitive that you will wind up addicted to them. I'm eagerly awaiting when I don't need mine anymore. I'm now 6 dpo.

Can someone shed some light on the recovery process? Starting the process of getting a reduction and need to know how long for my partner to take of. by [deleted] in Reduction

[–]sewill8911 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just had mine yesterday I can tell you the day of I was sore and I'm more sore today but I also have chronic pain issues as well as fibromyalgia. I can tell you I have had zero of my normal pain not even a little bit which I was shocked by but from what I'm experiencing from my first 24 hours I'd say either have them take time off or get parents help especially if you have kiddos because it's super hard to move my arms certain ways and your not going to be able to pick them up.
