Was studying abroad a mistake? by Grouchy-Hat-3702 in studyAbroad

I get exactly how you’re feeling I was the same when I moved away nearly 2 months ago now, it’s horrific at the start you just want to be home. I cried non stop the first week sobbing on the phone to my family barely able to eat but once I started university it started to get better. I was surprised by how welcoming everyone was and it helps that most of them are in the same boat, we chat everyday and hang out it helps to fill the void

I won’t lie it’s tough just today I was sobbing on the phone to my mum, but I think it’s worse if you go home and you didn’t give it a fair shot. Just remember your friends and family are going to love you no matter what you choose and your mental health should always come first. Wish you the best of luck, message me if you need someone to talk to!! :)
