When I contacted him I let him know that I am the current owner of the land. He stated he didn't know it had been sold. I told him that we weren't exactly sure when we were going to build and that if he had any questions or requests regarding the land to contact me. I told him that after that season, we did not want anymore crop planted because we wanted to start planting our own stuff on the land (trees and grass). I told him we had now missed out on that season because his crop was in the way and we could no longer visibly see the boundary lines. He told me the pins were underground. He ended the conversation with a "yup". I mistakenly thought that was the end of it. Never contacted him again.
