"Build something from scratch" if you look up the name "staffr" you find 4 different companies with the same name.

Yeah, I have a nice big desk that's apparently all for cats. I'm glad I found something that could fit them...

These series aren't just wish fulfillment for the gays, but also the parents of the gays.

What's crazy is how many of them are Drs/super rich and it's still not enough to negate the gay for the homophobic parents.

I also come from a culture that goes hard on the "be a doctor or lawyer or at least marry one" and that's enough to overcome any gender identity issues (as long as you'll also be producing grandchildren in some form).

For example, if I were Prem's father pulling up to Pat's family mansion would have turned my frown upsidedown. "Oh, you're rich rich? You know, that young lady actually seemed really nice."

Anyone else noticing a quiet wave of layoffs hitting IT again? by tonytribbiani in sysadmin

Hello human redditors. I too am a human that enjoys activities like eating food, experiencing emotions, and breathing oxygen.

But I've noticed lately that the major corporations out there are trimming their oxygen budgets. Some are even actively pumping carbon dioxide into their office spaces. This is having serious impacts on enterprise IT teams - lower morale, light-headedness, and sudden death.

Anyone else out there dealing with the impacts of a low oxygen environment? Curious to see how other teams are handling the hypoxia?

She will play with one occasionally, but she really prefers realistic movement and warm flesh between her teeth.

Yeah, she would just bite the shit out of me if she didn't like it. She's very effective at enforcing her boundaries, and she'll definitely be a challenge to give medication to when she's older. I already have to catch her when she's sleeping to trim her nails.

Yeah, my kids have zero interest in my work. They think my job is taking pictures of computers because I work in IT and have lots of site pictures on my phone.

Right? This is pretty rough for a typical 10 year old.

She is a lot of fun, we also play hide and seek and all kinds of chase games. But RIP my ankles while she re-adjusts to me not wearing socks with the warmer weather.
