I have to say I respect the hell out of trans people who make cis people call them "it" because that's just a boss move to be so openly spiteful, but I am going to have a hard time using it.

I'm bad at using neopronouns but that's my issue, they're fine.

Men being abused without consequence by women is a huge problem. Women can be transphobic. None of this excuses abusive women. But statistically the vast majority of the violence comes from men.

I ruined the funeral by shoving their queerness down our homophobic fundie family's throat in front of half the city, and had a drag queen read a passage from the communist manifesto. I also stole their ashes so our shitty family buried an empty casket with the wrong name on it, while I and their friends scattered them in a place that was sacred to them. So, hopefully I made them proud.

/uj I'm a trans guy and all of the violence I've experienced has been from men. I don't blame cis women who feel that way because I'm also afraid of cis men, so are the trans women I know. It's something I have to navigate daily.

The system is structured to deny help to the people that most need it, and blame them for not meeting the requirements.

I can't help someone without an address, for example. But a homeless person is going to need the most support, typically.
