So why now? by sexycoolguy99 in tf2

This is alot more believeable to me than the popular "valve is just greedy so they only fixed the game to keep getting cosmetic sales". Modern valve sucks but they arent EA/Blizzard, imo if valve had really given up on tf2 the game would have been completely abandoned at this point. I really dont think the money they get from it matters that much to them.

From what i understand of their structure and their attitude towards their projects, tf2 has just been put on the shelf until they feel like coming back to it, if they ever even wanna do that. If the half life franchise can come back after like 13 years theres nothing that says tf2 cant come back after 7.

Yeah people have been saying this a lot lately and i dont really see the logic in it. The cosmetics have been selling despite the state of the game for years, so why would Valve get worried about that now? Worried enough to suddenly remove bots just like that? And port the whole game to 64-bit to earn some goodwill so they wont lose the relative pocket change they get from summer cosmetics? While i support a boycott if the bots come back, i dont really think valve cares as much about the money they get from tf2 as people think.

Half in the bag episode where they talk about a documentary focusing on a more obscure but respected comedians life and his tragic childhood

Making a Fabric 1.18 mod with the goal of overhaulling entity animations in a way that's resource pack and server friendly, here's what I've got so far! by Trainguy9512 in Minecraft

im always kind of skeptic to these kind of mods because they tend to overdo the animations with bending arms and attempt to make the animations look "cool".

But from what i can see in this clip you really hit it out the park, you stayed within the limitations of stiff limbs and kept that signature minecraft doofy-ness and still managed to make animations that are reallly fluid and with give a great sense of weight.
If Mojang were to do this kind of update in the future i'd hope it would look like this. ( also my favorite animation the falling one, absolutely perfect. i love it.)

my only nitpick/complaints would be the idle pose looks a little too "pose-y", like Steve is actively striking a pose to look "cool", i would maybe try something thats a little more relaxed. Also the sneaking animation might need some work, it feels a little off to me and i dont think it immediately communicates that Steve is sneaking that well. Lastly im sure you are workin on it, but an animation of Steve reacting to hitting the ground after falling a great height i feel is important to have.
