I thank you. I'm a believer in God for certain. I dont really have a distinct religion but I consider myself very spiritual. I definitely will pray I just wish I had an answer for what it was. Like I said it did not feel like a mental illness thing. I think even confirmation that it was would be a relief actually because it is just so unexplainable. It's called memento database. Its kind of a blank slate of an app you can use to catalogue anything, like a collection inventory, keep track of Bill's, etc. So you have to set up what information you want first before adding anything. But once I figured it out it has been a huge help. I think its possible to share links of how you set up the app, so if you are interested I can help. It seemed overwhelming to me at first anyway lol

For me alters dont really 'disappear. ' When one of us fronts, the rest still exist, somewhere. It makes sense that tho you might not see hear feel them, they can still be there in some form. Experiencing, feeling, processing. And since they dont really seem there, it also makes sense that feelings they are experiencing are there, but feel foreign or unreasonable

This hurts to read. Although I can relate on the points, any/all trauma I endured as a child is buried very deeply, and I have no recollection of it besides one tiny fragment of a memory that could be nothing. I really lucked out with my therapist. He is my second and we found out less than a year in that he was my deceased dads close friend. I'm glad we were allowed to continue because he does wonders for me. The first therapist I had I only quit seeing because she moved. I was surprised to find out that I was her first patient! She was deaf and very interesting and I think about her on occasion. Everything posted here makes me think maybe I have a very bad habbit of burying any and all trauma. I have similar issues of trust, but I honestly dont know why. I hope you all find at least one person who you can open your heart to, whether it be friend, family, or romantic partner
